Revo Uninstaller Pro creates a full Registry backup once each day it is started. It also, by default, creates a full Registry backup on each program uninstallation. This can be disabled in the Options. The full Registry backup is done in addition to the regular backups of all Registry entries that Revo Uninstaller Pro deletes.
Full Registry backups should be used only if the Backup Manager cannot restore removed items, or if Windows does not start properly anymore!
Depending on your operating system, the steps to restore a full Registry backups are as follows:
You have to start the computer in a special mode with Command Prompt. To do that, restart your computer as you normally would, but before you initiate the reboot, press and hold the Shift key. Hold the key down until the computer restarts and you see the Choose an Option screen.
